Entity Nodes

Explain the role of entity nodes in UPDL.

Entity nodes describe the main objects of a domain: people, records, assets, documents, templates, devices, or other meaningful units.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Define the identity of a domain object.

  • Expose fields, relations, or ownership links.

  • Serve as anchors for actions, events, and components.

This makes entity nodes useful for business modeling and structured content, not only for interactive object graphs.
